F5914-900 Carpet Cleaner Review

My name is James and today we will be reading my review about the Hoover steamvac carpet cleaner with clean surge (or in short, the “Hoover steamvac clean surge”). The reason I’m writing this review is that I want to share my opinion about my latest purchase, which is this carpet cleaner (Captain Obvious!) so I hope you will find it useful and informative!

Before I had the F5914-900 Carpet Cleaner, I used to clean my carpets with a regular broom and when it was really bad, I used the vacuum cleaner. My wife, Katia, is from a Russian family and you know how much Russians love carpets and rugs and because of that, we have about 10 different carpets around the house. Cleaning them all is a true nightmare and takes a lot of time because each carpet has to be vacuumed a couple of times to get the smallest result. Our long time family friend recommended us to buy a device that is intentionally made for cleaning carpets so I went online and after a small research I chose the Hoover steamvac clean surge to be the “Chosen One”.

Let’s go over a couple of things that the Hoover SteamVac Carpet Cleaner with Clean Surge, F5914-900 manufacturer claims: it claims to have Two water tanks separate clean from dirty water, which appears to be useful if you are cleaning an average or a big sized carpet. Also it claimed to provide “deep cleaning” for the carpet and I’m proud to say that it cleaned dirt that even our Kirby vacuum cleaner couldn’t handle. Fact is that the Hoover steamvac clean surge is well constructed but you have to keep in mind that it IS plastic, with lots of compartments and latches and hose holders, etc, so one must simply be careful or those things might break off.

Bottom line is that I'm very pleased with the F5914-900 Hoover SteamVac Carpet Cleaner with Clean Surge. This is my first home steam cleaner. I put off purchasing one because I never thought that a simple home cleaner could deliver good results as the professional and expensive vacuums. But this Hoover made me a believer. I used it to clean up my dog’s stains and, the smell and stains are long gone. The suction and scrubbing ability of the Hoover steamvac carpet cleaner are absolutely outstanding.
